Throughout my page, you can see New York City from a different view. I want to share a side of New York that not many people know. When we think of New York City, we usually think of Times Square, the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, busy streets, rude people. However, in all of my photographs there are no signs of hustle and bustle. New York City has so much more to offer than those landmarks. Just give yourself a little stroll around the city and you will find so many hidden gems that I’m sure you will fall in love with.
New York City has always been my home away from home. This city is not where I was born and raised, but it is where I defined my personality and realized my passion, and I’m forever thankful for that. I can tell you a lot about the city, but I am neither a good story teller nor an excellent writer, so I will borrow a quote from Truman Capote about the city:
“I love New York, even though it isn’t mine, the way something has to be, a tree or a street or a house, something, anyway, that belongs to me because I belong to it.” – Truman Capote, Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
